Youth Program

Urban Impact Youth Program

Reconciliation Outreach’s Impact Program is designed to end the cycle of poverty and addiction resulting from broken homes. We work to build safe and trusting relationships with the youth 12-18 years of age and their families. We believe that through education and discipleship, they can be empowered to look beyond the limits that society holds. We choose to look at their passions, talents, and hobbies, and to see their true potential. Our youth face countless barriers to living successful lives. Experience and research show that these same young people are engaged in substantive activities focused on changing the world, they become empowered, wise and transformative leaders. We believe through Christ the Impact Urban Youth attendees can transform the lives of younger people, their peers, adults, and elders living among them and throughout their community.

We meet twice a week on Tuesday's and Thursday's 7pm-8: 30 pm for Bible study, dinner and just fun playing basketball or futsal

Reco Burt’s life is dedicated to helping others. He embodies the principles that are central to the mission of Reconciliation Outreach. Reco and Michelle, his wife of 26 years, have three children, and they make Christ the center of their family and daily lives. After attending the University of Southern Colorado, Reco taught in the Denver public school system. While teaching there, he developed a character education and life skills curriculum for at-risk middle and high school students and managed teams of diverse high school students. He also networked with school administrators, parents and community business leaders on behalf of the students. In his role with Reconciliation Outreach, Reco will utilize special events, summer camps and service learning projects to build relationships with troubled at-risk teens. He will strive to lead them to Christ and prepare them to become Christ-centered future leaders of our world. With initiatives like Reconciliation Outreach’s Youth Program, we are fighting a battle for our future. We hope you will join us in this effort.
